Social Media Book Reviews

Each student should identify a recent book that deals with theoretical and practical issues related to online interaction and facilitation. The book should be mainly concerned with the social aspects of creating online groups. The review should be about 2500-3000 words long, should describe the substance of the book, should evaluate its significance and how it intersects with the main issues discussed in class. Placing the book in the existing literature on the topic is also important. The review should be written in a narrative format and should address a scholarly public. Citations and style should be compliant with the class requirements. The reviews should be posted online, on this site. Instructions for publishing the review will be provided in class.
